SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Executive Assistant Supervisor, the Front Desk Assistant at our global headquarters in Bothell, Washington, plays a pivotal role in providing administrative support. This includes but is not limited to, screening incoming calls, sorting and organizing mail, and warmly greeting arriving clients. The Front Desk Assistant also provides essential organizational support and collaborates closely with various departments onsite. They serve as the primary point of contact on-site, embodying professionalism and efficiency at all times.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the Supervisor, Executive Assistant, and Site Administrator, encompassing tasks such as:
    • Assisting with incoming calls and effectively managing them, while also ensuring efficient sorting and organization of incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Facilitating smooth communication by administering the communication platform (GOT SharePoint site).
    • Managing meeting room reservations, including determining availability, sending out meeting invitations and agendas, and coordinating any necessary arrangements such as ordering food for visitors and clients.
    • Fulfilling office supply orders upon request to maintain smooth operations.
    • Coordinating travel arrangements, including airfare, lodging, rental cars, etc., for clients and candidates as needed.
    • Performing any other duties as assigned to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a good professional image, excellent phone mannerisms, and enthusiasm for customer service.
  • Ability to support both internal and external customers, applying basic skills and understanding of general office software, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and make requests for clear direction as needed to perform tasks.
  • Effective communicator; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with internal and external clients.
  • Highly developed and demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, and a minimum of 2-3 years of related administrative support experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required.
  • Knowledge of office management or secretarial work is required.
  • The ability to build a positive atmosphere is required.
  • The ability to work individually to do a variety of tasks.
  • Able to follow and pursue until a task is completed.

 

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$23.30 - $29.13 hourly

 

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Benefits available to Team Members include subsidized insurance for the Team Member and designated dependents (medical, vision, dental, life and disability), eligibility to participate in the AGC Biologics 401(k) plan (including a generous matching contribution from the company and immediate vesting), vacation, sick time, and parental leave.

Team Members are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus commensurate to the level of the role. The payout is based on both the company’s performance and the Team Member’s performance.
