Charlotte Office

This role is hybrid; therefore, you can expect to be in the office three days week as needed and should live within a commutable distance to the office. 

 

Position Summary

As the lead accounting role of the Country Servicing Business Services Team, this role is responsible for recording accounting information, enter transactions, consolidate, and verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance.

 

Responsibilities

• Verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.

• Balance sheet reconciliation, lease accounting, full cycle accounting.

• Direct and coordinate the preparation of financial reporting according to IFRS, Sibelco Group reporting and statutory requirements.

• Summarize financial status by collecting information; prepare balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

• Provide information to auditors.

• Manage and coordinate the annual external/internal audit process.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance required.

• 8 or more years of experience in manufacturing accounting preferred.

• Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset.
