Assistant Vice President, Transportation Department - Aviation

Purpose of Job

The role is to promote the development of the aircraft finance business in Asia from the Department’s Singapore office in close coordination with Head Office, the various branches and subsidiaries of the Bank.  

 

Job Responsibilities

 

• Supporting on the deal origination and drawdown (including but not limited to (i) the evaluation of transactions through risk assessment and profitability analysis, (ii) the credit due diligence with corporate profile, corporate analysis and financial projections, (iii) the preparation of credit application for credit process and credit grading and (iv) execution of the transaction through documentation, KYC, booking arrangements in coordination with the booking offices/loan administration teams,…)
• Dealing with credit monitoring reviews, waiver requests and adhoc queries on the aviation finance portfolio
• Assisting with loan transfer and/or secondary sale in line with our Origination & Distribution Strategy (including but not limited to (i) the preparation of sale application and (ii) execution of the transfer documents in coordination with the syndications team/booking offices/ loan administrations teams,…)
• Meeting market players – clients, bankers, brokers, research companies, etc. and producing meeting reports. 
   

 

Job Requirements

 

• Bachelor Degree, Accounting, Business Administration or Financial Engineering at first class University
• Knowledge in banking business and interest for the aviation industry
• 1 – 3 years of experience in finance, banking or accounting with good track record
• Ability to perform financial statement analysis and financial modelling
• Capacity to lead projects, plan tasks and collaborate with others towards achieving a common goal
• Ability to adapt quickly and multi-task efficiently
• Meticulous and dedicated individual with high sense of responsibility
• Team player
