About the role

SUMMARY: As a new professional in Corporate Development, this role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities aligned with Imperative Care’s long-term strategic objectives. The Corp Dev Analyst will analyze industries, companies, technology segments and business models to help identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities aligned with Imperative Care’s long-term strategic objectives.  With guidance and in conjunction with other more experienced Finance leaders, the role will evaluate the merits of complex alternatives and present findings to senior leadership; provide business critical insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships to new initiatives forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Support Imperative Care’s strategy by performing financial analyses, including but not limited to valuation, accretion/dilution, contribution analysis, and IRR.
  • Monitor and summarize financial research on industry peers and companies for senior leadership.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify and prioritize strategic gaps.
  • Execute business analyses and advanced modeling to draw interpretable insights.
  • Assist in the communication of findings to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of market trends, analyze competitors, and explore emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze potential strategic investments and support existing investments
  • Actively promote and support the Quality Management System, Quality Objectives, and Quality Policy.
  • Assure that you and functional subordinates (if applicable) are trained on all applicable procedures and processes according to Good Manufacturing Practices, applicable FDA, and Regulatory requirements.
  • Actively promote and support the company’s Management Review process.
  • Inform responsible personnel of concerns involving product quality.
  • Perform job functions in a safe and effective manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:                                                            
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and less than 2 years of professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Solid understanding of legal requirements of financial affairs of the company.
