Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

Support our global internal user community as first point of contact for our software solutions (apps) and analytics platforms, in coordination with our DevOps teams.

Provide business guidance on requirements and design to create specifications in close collaboration with product owners and software developers (e.g. create user interface mock ups, calculation definition, workflow requirements, and process steps) continually working towards MVP.

Have a passion for data, data solutions and its integration, developing interdisciplinary approaches and products for customers and presenting complex issues in a simple manner.

Assist with quality assurance (QA) testing and migration activities for your assigned area including coordination of user-acceptance testing, training, and roll-out plans.

Continue to enhance our applications seeking feedback from the user community and providing input towards a plan for implementation in coordination with the product owner.

Support the Agile methodology (sprint review and planning, backlog grooming, release pipeline, daily standups) by meeting with customer, documenting, creating cases in Azure DevOps, assisting the team and project towards the release schedule, repeating daily.

Other Responsibilities:

Develop good working level knowledge on our supported BI tools (IBM Planning Analytics and/or Oracle Essbase) enough to support user inquiries and train as needed

Develop new methods to assist customer in learning our software solutions and support regular key user feedback sessions to identify and explain improvements

Create a support concept for respective area and ensure operational integrity working with DevOps team to support performance optimization, bug resolution and business requirements such as monthly/yearly cutovers

For respective area, coordinate integration with required sources of data (SAP, Data.CORE, IdM, etc) as needed for full end to end automation.

Ensure documentation of software solutions is always maintained and up to date with the current functionality.

Learning to use SAP and MS SQL to validate data requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology

OR

• Bachelor's degree in Business (i.e. Management, Accounting or Finance) and 1+ years of software solutions implementation experience or 2+ years of experience in a business, such as Finance or Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for data and its integration, developing interdisciplinary approaches and products for customers and presenting complex issues in a simple manner
• Experience with serving customers and driving change, business processes (e.g. Finance & Controlling) and data analytics skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of an organization
• Agile, analytical, proactive, result and solution-oriented
• Must be able to multi-task, stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented environment

PLUS:

• Project management experience implementing IT systems or process improvement experience resulting in proven efficiency gains, standardization and simplification
• Software Solution implementation experience e.g. Database, Web, SQL &/or Business Intelligence tool experience a plus (IBM Planning Analytics or similar)
• Experience in conceptual design & implementation of reporting, forecasting and plan
