About the role

Senior Project Manager is an individual contributor role with the responsibility for management of transformation projects for the Italian Transfer Agency. Ensuring deliverables are met on time, at required quality and on budget. Stakeholder management is a particular area of focus for PM, including exceptional standard of project communication.

Your new role

As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Management of projects in their complete life cycle i.e. from Initiation through Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing;
• Responsibility for all areas of project with the focus on Scope Management, Time Management, and particularly Governance/ Communication/ Stakeholder Management;
• Working alongside Internal Automation / Next Generation Technology stream to deliver the technical capabilities
• Strong vendor management to bring together external vendors to meet the required deadlines and keep to budget.
• Leading the project governance and ensuring the necessary structure is being followed and status reporting is being updated and presented timely.
• Leveraging Project and Risk management best practices & gold-standard methodologies;
• Supporting change in the organization by the means of:
  • Promoting and advocating for Change Management;
  • Gathering and responding to user feedback regarding changes and implementation process.

What we value

Desired skills and competencies:

• Proven track record of strong project management skills, extensive project management experience and training;
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute Standards or PMI certification will be a strong advantage;
• Excellent client relationship/ stakeholder management skills;
• Excellent communication skills, with particular focus on senior management/ executive level (presentation, facilitation, negotiation, escalation), experience of managing key relationships across an international organisation;
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Strong self-motivation, focus on delivery and execution, and displaying can-do attitude and strong ownership and responsibility;
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail;
• Flexibility to adopt in a fast changing environment;
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal;
• Strong working knowledge of the Financial/ Fund/ Transfer Agency industry;
• Strong PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software.

Education and experience:

• Higher education in technology, accounting, finance, business or equivalent;
• 7 years in Project Management in Financial Services and/or Technology sector
