We are looking for someone with experience managing an end-to-end payroll process for multiple payrolls within a large pan European team. You are dedicated, resourceful, have a customer-service mentality. You demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail and professionalism in all interactions. You possess solid organizational and communication skills and you have proven experience of being able to handle competing priorities daily.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Ownership of the end to end payroll process for multiple country payrolls to ensure accurate results and statutory compliance</p></li><li><p>Liaise with external payroll vendors</p></li><li><p>Responsible for the timely and accurate payment of net salaries, payroll taxes and related benefits</p></li><li><p>Management of year end processing and other statutory filings as they relate to payroll, payroll taxes and benefits</p></li><li><p>Management and understanding of the treatment of Equinix Stock programmes: RSU/ESPP deductions gains and withholdings for the countries under your responsibility</p></li><li><p>Liaise with HR Services, Stock Services, and other business units to obtain monthly updates for payroll in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Respond in a timely manner to queries from the payroll vendors, HR Services and employees (via the HR Employee Service Centre)</p></li><li><p>Maintain SOX payroll compliance through established internal processes</p></li><li><p>Understand GL reporting as relates to payroll, and secures good working relationships with Finance/ GL teams</p></li><li><p>Support Time and Attendance system for your countries and resulting inputs to payroll</p></li><li><p>Update internal payroll procedures manual regularly to reflect changes in process</p></li><li><p>Support other team members with workload as and when required</p></li><li><p>Share payroll knowledge to a designated ‘back up’ team member to ensure business continuity in your absence</p></li><li><p>Embrace change in a fast moving environment</p></li><li><p>Scope to process further countries as and when required</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience of payroll processing for multiple countries in medium/large organizations</p></li><li><p>Highly proficient in interpreting payroll rules and regulations</p></li><li><p>Excellent Excel skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication (verbal &amp; written) and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English is essential, additional languages desirable</p></li><li><p>Experience of decision making with complete ownership payroll process</p></li><li><p>Flexibility and adaptability to support simultaneous business demands and deadlines</p></li><li><p><span>Structured/Organized/</span> approach</p></li><li><p>Previous experience within a pan-European environment or EMEA team</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of ADP (Streamline or Celergo advantageous)</p></li><li><p>Experience in processing African countries (Ghana/Nigeria)</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of Time and Attendance systems and feeds to payroll</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of payroll with integration from an HR System</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of Workday</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a
