<p><span><span>Hill International is hiring for our ongoing projects across Athens: </span></span></p><p> </p><p><span><span><strong>Senior MEP Manager</strong></span></span></p><p> </p><p><span><span><strong>Location:</strong>   Athens - Greece </span></span></p><p><span><span><strong>Reporting: </strong>Project Director</span></span></p><p><span><span>Hill International is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Manager to join its team in Athens.</span></span></p><p><span><span>The role combines pre-construction/design-phase responsibilities with on-site supervision during the construction phase, ensuring that MEP systems are designed, coordinated, and delivered in full compliance with project requirements.The successful candidate will act as a technical authority across both design and construction, supporting the project from early-stage development through to completion.</span></span></p><p><span><span><strong><u>Package: </u></strong>The company offers a competitive remuneration package and possibilities of career development within a dynamic working environment.</span></span></p> <p><span><span><strong><u>Pre-Construction &amp; Design Phase</u></strong></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead and manage MEP design coordination during concept, schematic, and detailed design stages</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Review and validate MEP design deliverables prepared by designers and specialist consultants</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and client technical requirements</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide input on constructability, value engineering, lifecycle cost analysis, and sustainability</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Coordinate MEP interfaces with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support tendering activities, including technical specifications, BOQs, and contractor evaluations</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Identify design risks and propose mitigation measures prior to construction commencement</span></span></p></li></ul><p> </p><p><span><span><strong><u>Construction Phase – Site Supervision</u></strong></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Supervise and monitor MEP works on site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and schedules</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and test plans</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Coordinate MEP activities with main contractors, subcontractors, and other site disciplines</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Monitor quality, progress, and safety of MEP installations</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, and progress reviews</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide technical support during defects liability period, as required</span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><strong><u> </u></strong></span></span></p> <ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>10+ years of professional experience in MEP engineering</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proven experience in both MEP design / pre-construction and construction-phase site supervision</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience on medium-to-large-scale building projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, or complex facilities.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience working within consultancy, PMC, or Engineer’s Representative roles is an advance</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate multidisciplinary teams</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Fluency in English (written and spoken); Greek language skills are highly desirable</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination tools is an advantage </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Professional knowledge of the English language</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>The candidate should be based in or be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language.</span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span>#LI-EP1</span></span></p>
