Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

 

Peraton seeks a Cyber Systems Administrator (Senior) to support Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)’s Technical Warfare Center (TWC) Laboratory.  Location:  Fort Eisenhower, GA.  In this role you will support the development the concepts and requirements that are implemented capabilities for full-spectrum Cyberspace operations for Department of Defense Information Network Operations (DoDIN), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).  

Tasks include:

• Provide systems administration for the ARCYBER Laboratory:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot system/servers.

• • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
  • Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
  • Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.
  • Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.
  • Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
  • Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.
  • Perform repairs on faulty system/server hardware.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs.
  • Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support.
  • Check system hardware availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
  • Conduct periodic system maintenance including cleaning (both physically and electronically), disk checks, routine reboots, data dumps, and testing.  

• Provide supporting assistance for systems administration to the cyber analytics environment, Gabriel Nimbus (GN) --  Manage GN Account Database, and Manage and process GN accounts as well as create Outlook rules  

Qualifications

Requires:

 

• HS 12+ Years, BA/BS 8+ Years, or MA/MS 6+ Years or PhD 3+ years
• Must have an understanding of Big Data Platform (BDP)
• Experienced maintaining and supporting computer, monitoring and managing system resources, and performing security administration functions such as user profile and account access management.
• Skilled in maintaining system documentation, optimizing system performance, and installing software.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
