Compensation: $19.00-$35.00/hour, based on experience and licensure
Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday-Friday, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM

What You'll Do:
As part of our Internal Medicine team, you'll help provide exceptional care for patients undergoing advanced diagnostics and treatment.
Responsibilities include:
Safely restrain and handle canine and feline patients during examinations and procedures
Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care, diagnostics, treatments, and hospitalizations
Prepare patients for ultrasounds, endoscopy, and other Internal Medicine procedures
Monitor hospitalized patients and promptly communicate changes to the medical team
Support patient admissions and discharges
Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and diagnostic equipment
Collect laboratory samples under technician supervision
Run, package, and submit laboratory samples according to hospital protocols
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets
Review discharge instructions and client education as directed
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients throughout their visit
Help maintain inventory, stock supplies, and keep treatment areas clean and organized
Support efficient appointment flow and collaborate with other specialty services as needed

Required Qualifications:
Previous veterinary experience preferred
Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday
