THE ROLE

Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing and maintenance of accounting transactions and related records.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centers.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system (Oracle preferred).
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Assist with audits related to accounts payable.
• Manage billback charges and prepare rebill invoices. Track and collect outstanding invoices.
• Support the Finance department and maintain accounting records.
• Other duties as needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• Accounting degree required
• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Microsoft excel and word proficient
• Oracle experience a plus
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
• Be a self-motivated individual who possesses a “roll up the sleeves attitude” and a “hands-on” style, as well as the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, results- oriented environment.
