Summary
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Business Analyst is to provide strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work collaboratively with business partners to gain in-depth understanding of the business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding then documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges while collaborating with vendors, and other IT groups in the company to successfully implement and support distribution/logistics business systems. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects, capturing business requirements, assisting with developing business processes and managing projects through implementation. The Sr. Business Analyst works cross functionally to drive overall business/IT alignment throughout the project.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing business relationships
- Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes, document customer journeys, and author business requirements
- Design and implement new or enhanced operational processes to meet key business objectives
- Support the business in the creation of Business requirements and functional specifications to
- support the corporate strategy and continually improve the functionality, performance, and
- reliability of our systems. Perform root cause analysis, make recommendations, and implement solutions
- Create functional specifications and continually work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and IT
- Work with project stakeholders and project management teams to provide regular project updates identifying risks, opportunities and timelines
- Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates
- Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, and providing timely reporting of issues
- Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
- Develop business process guides for end users
- Define business test cases and manage the user acceptance testing process
- Analyze problems and look for trends
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Required in Computer Science or Related Field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of system support of business applications
- The ability to isolate and define problems, taking steps to resolve them before they become more critical
- Apparel, retail or consumer products manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication, organization, time managem
