About The Role:                       

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Executive Leadership Team. The COO is held to the highest standard of professional conduct outlined in agency employee handbook, policies and procedure.  The COO will oversee the process of inter-departmental coordination for overall agency operations. The COO in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Leadership team will participate in policies and procedures that promote organization vision and culture, supports business growth, and minimizes risk. Additionally, the COO will have other duties and responsibilities as determined by the CEO.

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Supports the monitoring of agency reporting department Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Ensures effective and efficient workflow for both staff and consumer experience by attending to operational and procedural details.
  • Ensures effective implementation and continuous process improvement for all new services or roll outs in order achieve results and manage the change process.
  • Collaborates on the implementation of Center strategic initiatives goals and action steps.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and in-house statutes, regulations, policies, and protocols.
  • Participates in the establishment of department goals and performance indicators for the various departments.
  • Coordinates with contracted agencies.
  • Provides monthly operations updates for the agency board.
  • Maintains continuous lines of communication, keeping the CEO informed of all critical issue.
  • Conducts regular site evaluations at all our locations.
  • Mentor and develop staff and management using a supportive and collaborative approach, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, monitor, and evaluate results.
  • Provides leadership to ongoing efforts to maintain a high level of consumer satisfaction.
  • Serves on various State, CBHC, and community committees.

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a master’s degree in a behavioral health, business or a related field to the position.  
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience building, managing, and developing high performing teams at an agency operations level. Experience must also be related to the health care field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with managed care and public mental health.

Schedule:  

M-F 8-5

Pay Information:

Salary Range: $190,000-$220,000/yr

Eligible for Bilingual Stipend ($250/month)
