About the Position
In this role, you will oversee petroleum-contaminated sites by reviewing reports, conducting audits, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate records to ensure an effective cleanup. Additionally, this role handles Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP)-funded site contracts, processes invoices and change requests, and provides technical and administrative support for program-related projects. Site Management at Petroleum Contaminated Sites:
Review reports, plans, and proposals; coordinate with technical staff; issue approvals and feedback to monitor cleanup progress.
Conduct quality assurance audits, generate inspection reports, and upload them to Oculus.
Enter all reports, reviews, and date extensions into STCM and local databases to track progress.
Upload documents to Oculus to maintain accurate public records.
Conduct file reviews and develop comprehensive site histories to guide cleanup planning.
Communicate with contractors and responsible parties regarding cleanup progress, strategies, and performance.
Contract Management for PRP-Funded Sites:
Negotiate and develop scopes of work and schedules of pay items; verify invoice accuracy to ensure timely payment.
Prepare and process Requests for Change (RFCs) and Field Requests for Change (FRFCs) within PRP timeframes to manage scope changes cost-effectively.
Review and process PRs, RFCs, and invoices in MFMP according to PRP deadlines.
Technical and Administrative Support:
Assist with program-related research, information requests, and document tracking.
Support the Environmental Supervisor with project management tasks.
About the Schedule
Work Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no weekends!)

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one (1) of the biological or physical sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with three (3) years of professional related work experience.
OR: Master's Degree may substitute for one year of professional experience.
OR: Progressively responsible professional experience (totaling a minimum of seven (7) years) may substitute for the required college degree, at management's discretion.
Valid Florida driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Physical Demands: Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five years.
