Campus Worship Pastor
Summary of Position
- The Campus Worship Pastor is responsible for overseeing all worship and live production ministry activities to cultivate a healthy culture of worship and facilitate leadership, care, and community at the campus level. This position reports to the Campus Pastor and oversees the campus worship and live production staff: Live Production Manager, Associate Worship Pastor, and Music Director. The Associate Campus Pastor of Worship and Live Production leads the congregation toward intimacy with God by developing highly anointed, skilled, Spirit-filled worship and live production teams for all weekly and weekend worship experiences. This role maintains the best practices, standards, and policies of Gateway Worship.
Campus Worship Responsibilities
- Campus with Sat/Sun Services - Lead worship on 3 weekend rotation (generally one weekend off a month)
- Campus with Sun Service(s) – Lead worship on 6 weekend rotation (generally one weekend off every 6 weeks)
- Oversee weekend worship services: Including soundcheck/rehearsal
- Develop Worship song list, post songs on PCO
- Meet and oversee MD for service planning
- Attend pre-service meetings
- Weekend Service planning meetings
Campus Worship Operations Responsibilities
- Campus Worship Operations (PCO scheduling and workflows)
- Manage Worship budget (operational and event staff)
- Pastoring the Team – communication, one on one meetings, care, family gatherings
Live Production Oversight
- Oversee Live Production Manager
- Oversee their spiritual, professional and relational development
- Weekly oversight meetings
- Meet with all Live Production staff/teams (team gatherings)
NextGen Oversight
- Oversee Associate Worship Pastor
- Oversee spiritual, professional and relational development
- Weekly oversight meetings
- Attend NextGen services monthly
- Mentor/Pastor kids worship teams (weekend family time)
- Meet with all NextGen staff/teams (team gatherings)
Onboarding / Coaching Management
- Coaching sessions (Adult and NextGen – at least 2 sessions each, annually)
- Onboarding process (in-take, evals, coaching)
- Ongoing Development (for current team members, to develop worship leaders)
Campus/Central Collaboration
- Monthly meetings with Executive Pastor of Central Worship
- Available to serve at least once a year in Central Worship events
Campus Specific Activities
- Monday morning worship/prayer
- Campus Staff Meeting
- Campus lead team meetings
- Pastor on-call (eight weeks annually)

d) Physical Capabilities
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
