As the Product Strategy Manager on the Risk Management Product Team, you’ll: 

• Take part in an organization that is on an exciting and fast paced journey to transform risk management through technology.

• Work with a Design Strategist to understand the needs of business owners and risk management professionals to uncover the highest leverage problems to solve

• Refine the high level problems to ensure a clear understanding of the jobs to be done and opportunities and build high level process and design

• Lead discussions with stakeholders to prioritize the work with consideration for ROI, scope decisions and risky assumptions

• Work with the Product Lead to break down and assign work to the multiple delivery teams 

• Provide ongoing consultation to the delivery team to ensure the intent is met

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• At least 3 years of product management experience with experience in customer discovery, design strategy and strategic planing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design

• MBA or Master’s degree

• At least 1 year in risk management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

 

Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management

 

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

 

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
