Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Offshore Development’s role is to identify, develop and win the best offshore projects with a strong integrated solution design.
Within Offshore Development, the Transaction SLA (Service Level Agreements) team is responsible for a number of entities and agreements with our partners, from development management agreements to operation management agreements.
What will you do?
As a Senior Transaction Manager - Offshore Wind, you will be responsible for preparing contracts which governs the relationships with our partners, throughout the lifetime of the project. You will work on a broad range of different transaction projects, including early partnering and divestments.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare operational concepts to be implemented in SLA contracts
- Negotiate SLA contracts
- Manage internal and external stakeholders including financial, legal, and technical advisors
- Assume full responsibility of specific work packages or workstreams
- Prepare commercial models for contracts
Location
The work location can be Kolding in Denmark, Hamburg or Berlin in Germany, Amsterdam in the Netherlands or Stockholm in Sweden.
Some travel (30 to 50 days per year) should be expected.
Qualifications
For succeeding in the role
You have a strategic and analytical mindset and the ability to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. You have strong stakeholder management skills and can anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. You have the ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. You gain confidence and trust of others through honesty and integrity. You operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
Furthermore you have:
- A thorough understanding of how an offshore windfarm operates
- Experience in identifying and quantifying cost, risk and revenue drivers and ability to implement them in the SLA contracts
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in preparing and negotiating contracts for offshore projects
- Experience in driving projects through a number of approval gates with different stakeholders
- Min. 8 years of relevant work experience (Corporate or Advisory)
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Law or other relevant field of study
- Background in engineering or technical understanding (is an advantage)
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
