SkyHop Global is looking for a Human Resource Generalist who thrives on challenges and is dedicated to supporting our amazing employees and upholding our company standards. In this exciting role, you'll work closely with our HR Team to support our NY region, ensuring that our personnel policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Training and Development: Support the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
• HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals and improve HR processes.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
