Assists with health screenings, immunizations, documentation, education and follow-up activities to promote a safe and healthy work environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <div> <p>Education and Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required</li> <li>Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required</li> <li>One year related experience: Preferred</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse: Required</li> <li>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> <li>Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice: Required</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR: Required</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts routine health screenings in accordance with established protocols. Administers immunizations and medications per standing orders and scope of practice, documenting accurately in the employee health record.\</li> <li>Assists with new hire evaluations and annual health assessments, including reviewing medical history forms and gathering required documentation. Supports contact tracing, follow-up, and documentation for exposures to communicable diseases.</li> <li>Provides first aid and initial response for minor work-related injuries or illnesses and refers to higher-level care as needed. Assists with tracking and maintaining compliance with employee immunization and surveillance requirements, including data entry and reporting.</li> <li>Communicates clearly and respectfully with employees regarding test results, follow-up instructions, and wellness initiatives. Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.</li> <li>Stocks and maintains medical supplies and equipment used in the employee health office.
