Please review the following job description:

Provide support and strengthen the effectiveness of Corporate Finance Specialists in the evaluation and execution of highly complex transactions across the Commercial Community Bank. Manage all aspects of live deal execution working across internal and external partners. Lead, manage and develop a team of dedicated Corporate Finance Analysts and Associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

List the major responsibilities generally associated with the role (5-7 major responsibilities with no more than 10) that an incumbent in this job is expected to accomplish.  Please use numbers to separate each distinct responsibility. 1. Advanced idea generation around strategic capital alternatives including transaction structuring, analysis, screening and proposal
2. Manage live deal execution working with Corporate Finance Specialists, internal and external partners, and Corporate Finance Analysts and Associates
3. Oversee detailed financial analysis including merger modeling, leveraged buyout and debt capacity analysis
4. Lead and coordinate analysts and associates through the preparation of internal screening memorandums, term sheets and presentations for existing and prospective clients
5. Review loan documentation and work with internal / external counsel to ensure proper documentation
6. Conduct industry / market specific research and analysis to support credit evaluation and content creation
7. Develop relationships with clients and prospects and actively participate in business development activities
8. Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and day-to-day responsibilities of Corporate Finance Analysts and Associates
9. Actively recruit new analysts and associates to the Corporate Finance team while acting as the liaison to the Wholesale Development Program
10. Lead and execute ad hoc internal strategic initiatives and reporting activitiesQUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree
2. 7+ years of related work experience in leveraged lending or investment banking
3. Technical mastery of financial analysis and modeling
4. Understanding of key credit documentation and deal terms
5. Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills
6. Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team oriented
7. Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
8. High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skillsPreferred Qualifications:
1. Prior experience recruiting, developing, and leading a team
2. Advanced degree or certification (e.g. MBA or CFA)
