The Team:

The Data Control team is responsible for accurate set up and management of product attributes that are used by internal and external customers. Product attributes are critical to support the development, manufacturing, supply chain and point of sales of our products.

Job Description

The Opportunity: 

 

The Data Administrator is responsible for the creation and management of product attributes in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system, the Windchill system and the Workfront system. The Data Administrator works in close co-operation with the Product Development team to accurately initiate product set up and manages the product data throughout the product lifecycle from initial set up to end of life.

The Data Administrator also works closely with the Asia Data Control team directing product set up and product data management updates as needed.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Ensure that all data is aligned to GS1 and Mattel standards Process
  • Assign UPC & SCC GTIN’s to support GS1 Regulations
  • Process Item Creation Forms and manage requests for project set up in systems
  • Product Item Creation & Product Number Assignment
  • Product Dash Code Creation & Assignment (Primary, Variant, DI, Special Market, Etc.)
  • Product Development Attribute Management
  • Product Assortment Mix Management
  • Lifecycle Advancement Change Order Processing
  • Product Obsolescence & End-Of-Life
  • Global Reporting Structure Relationships
  • Project Document creation & relationship management

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design and development processes in a high volume consumer product industry or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with data analysis
  • Highly motivated and must take ownership of the responsibilities and quality of work required
  • Strong attention to detail, follow through, highly organized and passionate about data quality
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Customer focus and positive attitude in a dynamic role
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.


The base hourly rate for this position is between $30,80 and $38,50.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience. Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
