Your role will consist of
As an HR Systems Intern, you will be an integral part of our global People team, gaining hands-on experience in the realm of HR technology. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with HR professionals and contribute to the various projects related to HR Technology, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors, data analytics and process improvement. The exact projects will be established according to your availability, interest, skills, and experience, in addition to the specific business needs.
Possible projects include:
• SAP SuccessFactors Administration:
o Assist in the administration and maintenance of our SAP SuccessFactors system
o Support user access management, permissions, and system configuration
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Collaboration with HR stakeholders to gather requirement for reporting needs
o Utilize SAP SuccessFactors capabilities
• Process Improvement:
o Work on projects to streamline HR processes using SAP SuccessFactors capabilities
o Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within HR systems
• User Support and Testing:
o Provide assistance to end-users and address inquiries related to HR systems
o Contribute to the creation of training materials and conduct user training sessions
• System Upgrades and Enhancements:
o Support the HR team in implementing system upgrades and enhancements
o Stay informed about the latest features and updates in SAP SuccessFactors

Your training, skills, and experience checklist
• Undergraduate/Graduate students preferred graduating in December 2024 or later – in relevant degree program (Information Systems or Human Resources). We will consider other similar disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with HR processes and systems; especially SAP SuccessFactors (training will be provided)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong organization, project, and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfort engaging with senior leaders and global teams
• Strong research methods capability and writing skills
• At least a 3.0 GPA or equivalent
• Valid work authorization to work in the United States for this position.

Working conditions and locaiton
Summer intern positions begin in May 2024 and conclude in August 2024. The exact dates are flexible depending on each student’s availability and our business need. Our internships are full-time paid positions (40 hours/week).
This internship is based at our corporate headquarters in Denver, CO. It is possible some travel may be required to one or more of Newmont’s sites. There is ample opportunity for internal networking within our company.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $$23.80 (Freshman) - $43.26 (PhD). The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
