Regional Vice President:
The role of the Regional Vice President is to consistently achieve desired business results, positively influence customers and develop and facilitate the continued growth of the Territory Manager. The responsibilities range from leading, motivating, training, and directing the TM to accomplish the corporate goals for his/her assigned brands. A key responsibility of the Regional Vice President is the implementation, development, and management of all programs, be it product introductions, roll specials, sample placement, or the communication of any specific programs.
Responsibilities:
Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility.
Must have a clear understanding of Shaw Industries' internal/external procedures to help address any customer problem.
Complete and knowledgeable understanding of the flooring industry, an understanding of how the process at the retail level functions, and the role Shaw Industries plays, as the manufacturer.
Should fully understand the TM's job and be able to demonstrate the complete job function, selling, order processing, communicating with the mill, as-well-as problem solving.
Must set the pace and accomplishment level through goals and objectives. Must be setting direction on a constant basis and measuring the results.
Should allocate appropriate time to spend with each TM. Should work with a TM once a month.
Must be an effective communicator and have mastered the process at the TM level to be an effective "coach."

Requirements:
High level of Business and Financial Acumen including the understanding of P&L responsibilities
4 to 5 years of experience as a Territory Manager
