The Execution team within ILI Reinsurance is responsible for the implementation of reinsurance and administration of YRT reinsurance for both affiliate and third-parties. The team focuses on premiums, reserves, and monthly reinsurance transactions, including new product launches, repricings, inforce updates (e.g., recaptures, rate changes, replacements), and other reinsurance initiatives. This role also supports cross-functional collaboration with partnering teams inside and outside of ILI Reinsurance.
This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by the business. Your manager will provide specific details regarding the expected number of on-site days.
What you can expect:
Execute and oversee reinsurance administration in the TAI Reinsurance System for all premiums and reserves.
Collaborate with the Reinsurance Post Execution team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Provide input and support to the Reinsurance Solutions team on treaty development.
Analyze and reconcile reinsurance data to identify trends and ensure control compliance.
Serve as a subject matter expert on reinsurance for both inforce and new transactions.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Support internal and external audit requests related to reinsurance administration.
Enhance documentation and controls in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate across actuarial, finance, and technology teams to ensure accurate handling of premiums and reserves.
Provide oversight and support for outsourced reinsurance administration activities.
What you’ll need:
5+ years of experience in insurance or financial services, preferably within a reinsurance function.
Understanding of how reinsurance and insurance transactions impact downstream data users.
Project management skills.
Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis tools.
Proficiency in writing, reading, and editing queries using Access, SSMS, DBeaver, or Rabid.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Self-motivated and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
It’d be a plus if you had:
Experience with the TAI Reinsurance administration system.
Experience partnering with Risk Management or Audit.
Exposure to financial reporting tools.
Proficiency with data visualization software (e.g., Power BI).

What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level
