Senior Manager, Integrated Communications - LADS
Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) is Raytheon’s primary business area that specializes in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, precision fires and a range of missiles and effectors. The business area provides the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and international customers with integrated air and missile defense, counter UAS, and precision long-range and combat weapon capabilities. RTX Communications is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and deliver communications strategies and content to support the business and growth goals of the portfolio. As a member of the Communications team, you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing strategic, world-class communications in support of company priorities.
What You Will Do
- Develops/leads development of and maintains communications deliverables (talking points, key messages, prep packages, posts, featured content; speeches, news releases, holding statements, presentations, etc.) in partnership with COEs in support of communications strategies
- Partners with COEs to identify appropriate metrics to determine objective achievement and develop corresponding dashboards
- Partners with COEs to develop microtargeting profiles and strategies for key audiences
- Partners with COEs to develop SBU/SSBU employee communications
- Develops relationships with targeted media; Facilitates media interviews and ensures participants are prepared
- Works with manager to identify and prepare SBU and SSBU presidents/leads for external speaking opportunities
- Assists with SSBU-related media monitoring and reporting
- Plans, attends and leverages industry trade shows and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaigns – including media, social media, customer testimonials and meetings with communications counterparts and PAOs to build and advance relationships
- Partners with the Employee Communications COE – including all-hands meetings and regular leader messages
- Ensures SBU/SSBU priority products, services and technologies are favorably positioned at key trade shows and industry events; aligns and connects non-national SSBU communications activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations or related field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
- Experience with traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, including print, electronic, social media, video and industry events.
- Project Management experience.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
