What will you do in this role?
The position oversees all field construction activities related to the construction of single-family and multi-family homes within the Denver Market. This market will produce approximately 400-700 homes per year.
Work with the Market Leader in developing the plan for the delivery of homes that meet the Denver business plan, including starts schedules, completion schedules, and vendor needs to achieve the plan.
Enforce Oakwood quality and home delivery standards and construct homes that meet those standards, come in on budget, and are delivered on schedule.
Maintain systems to measure and track home construction activities' performance, including individual Builders' performance.
Work with the director of purchasing and estimating to ensure that the construction department’s estimating, purchasing, and contracting operations result in homes constructed within budget.
Oversee value engineering of construction plans to maximize the perceived value/cost ratio.
Manage all field associates, including Community Construction Managers and Builders.
Develop trend analysis methods and monitor trends in performance benchmarks
Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management
You Have:
Education - Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction
Self-starter and results-oriented
Excellent verbal and written skills
Exceptional organizational, computer & interpersonal skills. Proficient in Excel and Word with some familiarity with computer operating systems for construction scheduling.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve
Strong understanding of the entire development and construction process
Strengths in forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly

Expected Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 Annual Salary - This position is eligible for additional performance incentives
