Position Overview
Under direction, performs multiple aspects of the processes relating to payroll and benefits. Assists with preparation of payroll vouchers for submission to CMS and the Comptroller’s Office. Prepares, types, maintains, and stores a variety of Human Resources records, paperwork, and files. Assists with the processing of benefits enrollment and change forms that are available to State employees and their dependents. Provides backup to, and assists as needed, the Transactions/FMLA Unit and Timekeeping Unit. Provides assistance to agency employees and others regarding payroll and benefit related inquiries. Provides basic office support for unit.

Essential Function

Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion two years of college or satisfactory completion of an approved training program.
