A Day in the Life

This position will lead a small team for Facilities, ensuring facility assets maintain optimal function and performance. Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facilities or campus, including custodial, engineering, site services, and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out in a safe & timely manner. You will also be communicating with Leaders at the site and within the organization.

This role will be onsite at our Grand Rapids location

·         Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities modifications

·         Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities

·         Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs

·         Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department

·         Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

·         Attend weekly meetings with Site Leaders

Must Haves

·         High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Facilities experience

Nice to Have

·         Bachelor’s or advanced degree

·         Cleanroom experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Experience with building management systems (BAS & CMMS)

·         Working knowledge of maintenance operations, administrative services, contract management, security, janitorial, and grounds maintenance

·         Strong verbal and written communications with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities

·         Experience working with vendors

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,600.00 - $128,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may var
