Job Summary

People & Staffing Coordinator - Levy at Fiserv Forum 
Workforce Steward - Part time, $22/hr
-Hourly non-exempt, bargaining unit position
-Non-wage benefits according to collective bargaining agreement

 

Duties & Responsibilities
-Supports Labor & Workforce Coordinator maintenance of Article 3 staffing and bargaining unit composition charts and counts as determined by Employer and Union; assists with analysis and recommendations to Employer and Union of staffing and bargaining unit dynamics

Workforce Mobilization
-Drives maximum workforce participation by affirmatively engaging with bargaining unit employees whose availability for a scheduling period falls below 80% to ascertain why and cure defect timely, whose show rate falls below 90% to ascertain why and cure defect prior to discipline, who "no call no show" once to ascertain why and cure defect prior to second or third Instance
-Drives maximum workforce participation by affirmatively engaging with bargaining unit
employees, through use of Seniority List and Cross-Classification Work List to assist Employer in filling added and/or vacant shifts
Workforce Recruitment
-Generates referrals to vacant positions through field strategies developed jointly by Employer and Union, including but not limited to bargaining unit employee engagement, non-unit workplace engagement, intra-union workplace engagement, and community engagement
-Screens potential referrals for basic responsibilities and job duties prior to direct or job fair referrals, including but not limited to availability and scheduling, and assist in process from application to first shift
-Maintains list of referrals and disposition of applicants
-Participates in Employer job fairs
-Affirmatively engages with applicants and hires through process to becoming stable bargaining unit employee including completion of pre-hire requirements of Employer, attendance of new employee orientation, scheduling and attending first shifts, navigating other scheduling/staffing and workforce processes
