Senior Agile Delivery Manager

The Basics

Tanium is looking for a dynamic Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join our IT Business Systems team! This person will drive and deliver projects related to enhancing and improving the platforms that we use for most of Tanium’s back-office applications. They will drive innovation by automating workflows, boosting timely project delivery, and reimagining processes to maximize efficiency.  They will partner with cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders to manage the team backlogs and to set expectations on delivery. Above all, this person will be a key component of improving Tanium’s business systems ecosystem, tackling high-impact problems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you'll do

• Work with IT leaders to deliver IT business systems projects and strategic initiatives using Agile methodologies 
• Help IT Agile delivery teams shorten time to market on project deliverables 
• Coach IT business teams to develop higher Agile delivery maturity 
• Organize and lead agile ceremonies, project status, and other working meetings for the Agile teams 
• Be a great facilitator by organizing effective meetings and drive accountability on follow-up actions 
• Resolve conflicts and remove impediments that hinder the teams’ performance 
• Facilitate delivery for multiple Agile delivery teams 
• Work closely with the release managers to close out releases and verify completeness 
• Organize the team backlogs ensuring that they are updated and prioritized 
• Track and report team performance, project status, and other KPIs to ensure team goals and project objectives are met 
• Effectively communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders and management  
• Be point of contact for the Agile teams (stakeholders and IT leadership) 
• Guide stakeholders and Business Analysts to prioritize and define detailed requirements 

We’re looking for someone with

• Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or any related fields (or equivalent experience) 
  • Agile certification(s) preferred
• Experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis 
  • Must have prior experience with Agile Methodologies - Kanban and SCRUM 
  • Prior experience in Business Systems and IT applications and related integrations 
  • Solid experience with one or more of our key CRM and ERP platforms, with an emphasis on Salesforce, Netsuite and Coupa 
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams  
  • Must have a strong desire to achieve team and delivery excellence 
  • Must be comfortable providing feedback to the teams and facilitating continuous improvements initiatives 
  • Experience in Agile tool suite (i.e., JIRA, ServiceNow, Kanbanize)
