Summary: As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization, this role serves as the individual that provides technical expertise in the design, build, optimization, implementation, and maintenance of a data solution. This role will be responsible for developing the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring that operational data enables analytics and business intelligence across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data architecture in Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake objects (tables, dynamic tables, views, warehouses).
• Manage Snowflake Security and Access.
• Partner with our Integration team on ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse using Snowflake-native tools and other tools available (i.e. Informatica and MuleSoft).
• Build and manage deployment of Snowflake changes across environments, including production (GitHub).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and lineage across pipelines.
• Write and optimize query performance and warehouse usage. Monitor Snowflake compute costs.
• Developing scripts for moving data and ETL/ELT between AWS and Snowflake
• Work with cloud technologies such as AWS, S3, Azure, GCP, and blob storage.
• Support the production environment for the Enterprise Data Warehouse by handling issues such as Ingestion and transformation problems.
• Perform unit testing and clearly document build so others can easily understand the implementation.
• Partner with data analysts, governance, and Business Intelligence teams to enable analytics.
• Support the Data Architect and Business Intelligence with optimized data models.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote Organizational initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of designing and implementing a fully operational production grade large scale data solution.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (governance, engineering, science, lake, warehouse, sharing and applications)
• Experience using GitHub for deployments.
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (Kimball, Data Vault).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to problem solve in an environment with unclear requirements

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $89K to $128K. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
