Position Summary
The People Partner is a critical member of the CVS Health HR team, providing operational excellence, data‑driven insights, leader enablement, and strategic HR support across our PCW businesses. Partnering closely with HR Business Partners, leaders, and HR Centers of Excellence, the People Partner improves colleague experience, enhances HR processes, and enables HRBPs to operate at the top of their license.
This role blends tactical issue resolution, data and analytics, and strategic HR support—acting as the connective tissue between HR Shared Services, COEs, business leaders, and colleagues. People Partners identify trends, solve root causes, support talent and engagement routines, and build leader capability through education and coaching.
The People Partner role serves as a development pathway toward HR Business Partner positions and offers broad exposure to HR strategy, operations, analytics, and business leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Colleague Experience & Issue Resolution
- Serve as primary HR support for leaders and colleagues on inquiries across the employee lifecycle (e.g., staffing, pay, benefits, leave, policy).
- Partner with HR Shared Services and COEs to research, resolve, and close HR service issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure timely, accurate communication and follow-up to colleagues and leaders.
2. Data, Reporting, and Insights
- Deliver accurate and timely HR data, dashboards, and reporting (e.g., turnover, staffing, engagement, talent).
- Translate data into insights, themes, and recommended actions for HRBPs and leaders.
- Identify trends in tickets, staffing, engagement, or operational compliance to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to automation efforts and standardization of reporting tools.
3. Leader Education & Capability Building
- Drive leader self-service by educating managers on HR processes, systems, and policies.
- Create and deliver leader learning content (live sessions, vignettes, guides, job aids).
- Help leaders understand their role in hiring, performance, policies, and talent processes.
- Use ticket trends to inform targeted leader enablement strategies.
4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify systemic HR issues and propose process improvements or operating model enhancements.
- Partner with HRSS, HCM, and COEs to improve workflows, reduce repeat tickets, and enhance colleague experience.
- Standardize processes, templates, and best practices across divisions.
- Participate in enterprise HR transformation projects, technology pilots, and innovation efforts.
Required Qualifications
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
- 5–7 years of HR or related work experience
- Strong problem‑solving, judgment, and decision‑making skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams
- Strong communication and customer service orientation
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex issues with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Teams, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a matrixed HR environment, including Shared Services, COEs, or HR Generalist support
- Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or similar type certification preferred.
- Experience supporting both transactional HR processes and strategic HR initiatives
- Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS platforms
- Experience with reporting automation, dashboards, or data visualization tools
- Ability to influence without authority
- Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to support change and continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base
