Key responsibilities for the role:

Matching Grants Program Management

  • Provide full oversight of the AIG Matching Grants Program and serve as subject matter expert on program strategy and escalations. 

  • Provide white-glove executive and senior leader support.

  • Oversee program invoicing and payment processing between Finance and vendor processing and long-range budget planning as it relates to the business alignment and program standards.

  • Create online and offline giving campaigns with demonstrated understanding of employee fundraising practices, giving programs, and ad-hoc campaigns, e.g. disaster relief.

  • Oversee program support managed by third party vendors ensuring customer service provided adheres to standard operating procedures and company policy.

  • Expand Matching Grants Program to additional countries beyond current scope.

  • Stay current about laws and processes regarding federal tax exemption of nonprofit organizations, including annual reporting, Form 990, and requirements for applying for and maintaining tax-exempt status including international equivalency determination.

  • Manage Program according to workplace giving standards and best practices and maintain a network of peer nonprofits for benchmarking.

  • Direct program positioning for awareness campaigns and communications.

Vendor and Third-Party Application Management

  • Work as SaaS contract owner for Corporate Citizenship system vendors, managing contractual review, pricing negotiations, and renewals.

  • Work as SaaS application owner and the main point of contact for Corporate Citizenship third party application, and monitor and resolve system issues.

  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders including IT, Global Sourcing and Procurement, Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory, People Analytics, and Finance.

  • Fulfill global enterprise regulatory, risk, compliance, and security requirements, including risk assessments, data governance and privacy requests, business continuity reviews, and other audits and investigations.  

Global Corporate Citizenship Systems and Operations

  • Serve as Global Corporate Citizenship systems subject matter expert ensuring all relevant staff is trained on technical skills and best practices for grant making and employee engagement platforms.

  • Stay up to date with system enhancements and communicate solutions that create efficiencies for the day-to-day operations of Corporate Citizenship Directors and global employees.

  • Oversee implementations, monitoring and testing for large scale Corporate Citizenship initiatives and provide operational support for designing, developing, and delivering the employee engagement strategy under the guidance of Corporate Citizenship Directors.

  • Function as Corporate Citizenship policy owner and refresh the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines in alignment with platform capabilities

  • Oversee the workflows, automation, and lifecycle of all grant applications, ensure smooth grant processes, maintain accurate records, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of finance, reporting and IRS regulations related to private foundations or charitable corporate giving.

  • Cleanse data, analyze trends, and produce actionable insights with clear and concise reporting, create executive level presentations, and pitch concepts for senior leader support.

  • Project management, including the ability to successfully keep GCC on track and external vendors through complex projects with competing deadlines.

  • Understanding of finance, reporting and IRS regulations related to private foundations or charitable corporate giving.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, or training. 

  • 7+ years of experience in Foundation Operations or Corporate Responsibility Operations.

  • Capable of building new processes and systems from ideation to execution and workflow management.

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management, process documentation and mapping experience.

  • Experience managing global programs.

  • Makes sense of high volume and complex information to effectively solve problems.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving.

  • Considers the needs of clients, constituents, and the organization, shifts priorities appropriately.

  • Strong customer service skills.
