Hearing Facilitation:
• Conduct disciplinary hearings in a neutral, structured, and professional manner.
• Listen to testimony from employees, supervisors, witnesses, and union representatives as applicable.
• Ensure all parties have an opportunity to present information and respond to allegations.
• Maintain order and enforce procedural expectations throughout the hearing.
Case Review & Preparation
• Review case files, documentation, and evidence prior to each hearing.
• Ensure understanding of relevant Civil Service rules, hospital policies, and past precedent.
• Confirm all required documents are complete and available for review.
Decision‑Making & Documentation
• Evaluate testimony and evidence to support findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager and Director of HR on final decisions.
• Prepare concise written summaries and outcomes following each hearing.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate hearing records.• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, labor relations, or civil service processes helpful.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain neutral, objective, and professional in sensitive situations.
• Understanding of due process and disciplinary procedures.
