The primary function of this position includes but is not limited to maintaining accurate inventory levels and product quality.
The Inventory Associate must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Label inventory to ensure accurate tracking, identification, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform daily date checks and remove outdated products from inventory.
- Identify products in the warehouse management system; identify code dates on products.
- Perform a full range of inventory reclass/transfer functions.
- Maintain damaged product areas and accurately record product to be discarded.
- Evaluate returned driver products and verify whether the product is safe to return to inventory.
- Perform daily inventory counts and provide detailed documentation of results.
- Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including but not limited to powered industrial equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Shrink-wrap products on the loading dock.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety practices and company policies and food safety principles. Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
- Perform related clerical tasks to support warehouse logistics.
- Perform Warehouse Associate tasks and any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education/Training
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements.
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Experience operating electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment and tools used to perform the job.
- Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop a working knowledge of the product.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 75 pounds unassisted. When lifting more than 75 pounds, a lifting device should be used, or two or more people may assist
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets
