You will be part of the Asset Exposure Management (MA) unit within the Business Area Markets “M”. The unit leverages M’s deep market insight, excellence in market operations, and proficiency in providing market services and provides asset owners in Nordics, Europe, and New Energy Solutions with portfolio management, financial optimisation, hedging, and regulatory advisory services. MA also provides support on asset development and commercial strategy. This role is placed under the MA Nordics unit (MAN).</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong><br/>
We are looking for a new member of the team, with experience both in the energy industry as well as portfolio management.</p><p>As a senior portfolio manager in the MAN unit, you will:</p><ul><li>Manage the Nordic asset exposure portfolios for long term industrial power contracts, fixed price contracts to SME, Guarantees of Origin and El-cert.</li><li>Provide back-up for the other portfolio managers in the department.</li><li>Support the total asset exposure management for the Nordics.</li><li>Contribute to project work within and outside the department.</li><li>Contribute with commercial strategy support to the Nordics for asset development and M&A.</li></ul><p>The role reports to the VP MAN.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We are seeking experienced candidates with:</p><ul><li>Relevant higher education at Master´s level (Economics, Sciences, Engineering or similar).</li><li>Experience with portfolio management, risk analysis and hedging.</li><li>Experience from/with the energy industry is preferable.</li><li>Experience with/or knowledge of PPAs and energy derivatives are preferable.</li><li>Collaborative work style and strong interpersonal and team skills.</li><li>Ability to identify key issues, analyze data, and make recommendations to ensure the departments function meets asset owners expectations.</li><li>Ability to translate complex analysis into concrete and easily understandable recommendations and actions.</li><li>Good business acumen – commercially minded and result oriented.</li><li>Self-driven and able work on several activities simultaneously and handle tight deadlines.</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Unlimited learning opportunities at various levels of the organisation.</li><li>The chance to grow your career alongside a truly global network of experts, leaders, specialists, and graduates from different countries and backgrounds.</li><li>The opportunity to work somewhere with pride, and be able to honestly say “My work is contributing to saving the planet”.</li><li>A work culture that puts emphasis on the individual, offering flexible working solutions, and work-life balance principles.</li><li>Statkraft offers competitive terms of employment and benefit schemes, and we’re a trusted employer that puts the safety of our people first.
