We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent Development team on-site in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Senior Talent Development Specialist you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by facilitating our learning portfolio, working with facilitation partners, and delivering our flagship training programs to employees and leaders across the globe, helping Pacific Life achieve its talent development goals, and prepare our workforce for the future.  This role is critical to building capability and improving performance within our organization.  You will fill a new role that sits on the People Experience (PX) team within Talent Management, reporting directly to the head of Talent Development.  You will work on the TD team alongside other talent development peers and the wider Talent Management team, including Talent Enablement and Organizational Development & Change Management.

How you’ll help us move forward:

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor-led training as part of enterprise-wide learning initiatives, working with contract resources as required
  • Design and facilitate innovative blended learning solutions that support talent development strategies and meet business needs
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to improve content and delivery based on learning experience feedback from employees and leadership teams
  • Maintain facilitation standards across the enterprise between team and vendors, ensuring a world class learning experience for our people
  • Work with the Talent Development team to provide SME advice on the learning program strategy
  • Help to design impactful and innovative development experiences for employees and leaders
  • Support with SME guidance on RFP proposals to ensure we onboard great delivery and design vendors
  • Ensure Train the Trainers are implemented for all key programs and measure impact, providing feedback as required to key stakeholders
  • Support the assessment of development needs for PX and the business and architect solutions both internally and with vendor partners
  • Help manage the Talent Development team capacity with vendor partners

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development/HR/psychology, communications, or related field
  • 8 years of delivery experience, including Leadership Development training at senior levels
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and group engagement skills
  • Ability to present to global, diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with corporate learning strategies and instructional design
  • Can work across the business to provide SME input to learning strategies

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$137,610.00 - $168,190.00
