Software Engineer 3

Support an exciting team focused on maintaining an existing suite of code quality tools. Provide coaching support across the enterprise addressing tool usage and best practice coding guidance. Maintain and continue to evolve the code quality tool suite.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. (SWE 3)
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. (SWE 2)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Technical Skills

• Experience in reverse proxies and SQL-style databases (PostGreSQL preferred).
• Experience implementing cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience working with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
• Software development experience in JavaScript and Python. 
• CASPORT PKI Experience.
• GitLab and Jenkins experience for Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery and / or Deployment (CD).
• Build Tool knowledge such as Gradle, ANT, or Maven.
• Experience building Docker containers.
• Pipeline testing experience.
• Ability and willingness to assist developers with integrating code quality tools into their existing workflow.
• Ability to work independently.

Desired Technical Skills

• Linux (Centos) / Red Hat System Administration experience with fixing security issues and implementing patches
• AWS architecture skills using Linux servers and databases
• 12 months recent Kubernetes experience
