Production Lead

Hours: 4:30 AM–1:00 PM with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts
Bilingual (Spanish/English): This is a must, as all staff in the area are Spanish speaking only.

As a Production Lead, you'll partner with Operations Leadership to ensure seamless production processes, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of associates to meet and exceed daily goals. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with USDA standards and completing all required documentation accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Plan, assign, and oversee the work of production associates within your designated area.
• USDA Compliance: Ensure all production processes align with USDA regulations and complete required documentation with precision.
• Quality Control: Ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards, including USDA compliance.
• Hands-On Support: Assist with production tasks, equipment operations, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Process Management: Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
• Compliance Checks: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Coordination: Communicate effectively with Traffic, Customer Service, and other departments to align production goals.
• Coaching: Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to production associates to foster growth and improve performance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects and other duties as instructed by leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Position Details:
  • Hours: 4:30 AM–1:00 PM with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.
  • Quality Experience: Familiarity with USDA processes and completing required paperwork is essential.
  • Production Experience: Previous experience in production line management is highly advantageous.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English): This is a must, as all staff in the area are Spanish-speaking only.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, with provided PPE and freezer gear.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs./18 kgs. (weight requirements may vary by facility).
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, based on business needs.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud.
