Job Responsibilities

Summary:

The position of Production Lead works safely and supports their team within the organization.  They will execute the daily production plan in order to have all machines up and running scheduled to plan.  Will participate in team meeting and work on cost savings projects.

Lead Responsibilities:

  • Run equipment up to 50% of time or as needed using appropriate measurement equipment to confirm product characteristics.
  • Track daily time of production personnel
  • Audit and maintain work instructions
  • Assign resources to meet scheduled production requirements
  • Participate in Gemba walks
  • Participate in employee evaluations
  • Inventory

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Required :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to understand manufacturing processes
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Preferred:

  • Experienced with SAP, Centra/Citrix Data base
  • Experience with Lean tools
  • Operate material handling equipment
  • Lead Experience
