Senior Automation Program Manager

In this role, you will lead automation initiatives for major global programs, act as a key liaison for stakeholders, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. You’ll have the opportunity to influence global standards, manage impactful projects, and work in a dynamic international environment.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach</p> <p>This position is part time eligible with 80%.</p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Tasks &amp; responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>In your new role, you will take ownership of automation deliverables for sites within two major investment programs: Supply for Growth (S4G) Digital Program and Asset Replacement Program, covering hundreds of modernization projects.</li> <li>Furthermore, you will serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders across all levels, including program leaders, automation teams, and production managers.</li> <li>You will lead automation project management activities such as strategy, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting.</li> <li>Moreover, you will align automation requirements across programs, projects, IT, contractors, and local teams.</li> <li>You will guide project teams in adopting global standard platforms and products while driving change management.</li> <li>In addition, you will develop onboarding materials and deployment concepts and deliver workshops in collaboration with automation architects and platform teams.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) or Diploma degree in engineering, automation, information technology, electrical engineering, computer science or a similar field with longstanding professional experience within different automation functions in a regulated environment </li> <li>Proven experience in project and change management for large-scale projects, ideally with lean management and project controlling knowledge</li> <li>Strong technical expertise in automation or IT, preferably in life sciences</li> <li>Quality-oriented and business management thinking and acting</li> <li>Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills in a global, cross-functional setting</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Ready to contact us? </strong></span> <br/>If you have any questions about the job posting or process - please contact our HR Direct Team, Tel: +49 (0) 6132 77-3330 or via mail: <a href="mailto hr.de@boehringer-ingelheim.com" target="_self" title="">hr.de@boehringer-ingelheim.com</a><br/> <br/><span>Recruitment process:</span><br/>Step 1: Online application - The job posting is presumably online until October 09th, 2025.
