As the Interim Director of Clinical Systems & Informatics you will:
Serve as interim leadership providing oversight of Meditech Client/Server, Athena One and Clinical Informatics initiatives
Leverage technical and clinical expertise in system administration, clinical workflows, data integrity and strategic alignment of health IT systems to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory changes and value-based care initiatives
Lead clinical informatics efforts to optimize workflows improve user adoption, standardized order sets, documentation templates and data dictionaries
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure system usability and compliance
Partner with Finance, Quality and Operations teams to develop analytics and reporting that support performance improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics or related field; Advanced degree a plus
- 7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare IT overseeing EHR systems and implementations
- Previous experience and knowledge of Meditech Client/Server and Athena One
- Expertise in clinical informatics, workflow design and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Willingness to travel to client site 3 days per week depending on organizational needs
- Authorization to work in the United States
