Mercedes‑Benz of Richmond is seeking a detail‑driven, organized, and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vehicle sales, financial documents, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities
Process all new and pre‑owned vehicle billing, including retail, lease, wholesale, and dealer trades
Verify accuracy of sales documents, contracts, titles, and funding paperwork
Submit and track DMV documentation and ensure compliance with state and manufacturer requirements
Reconcile schedules related to vehicle inventory, contracts in transit, and accounting records
Communicate with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized digital and physical records for audits and reporting
Support the accounting office with additional administrative tasks as needed
 
Qualifications
Previous automotive dealership billing or accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of DMV processes, title work, and dealership documentation
High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Proficiency with dealership management systems (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
Professional communication skills and a commitment to customer service

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of title processing or dealership administrative experience preferred.
