Accounting Department Team Member

Position Title:  Staff Accountant

Location: Metz Culinary Management Corporate HQ, Dallas PA

Salary: 55-60K 

Metz Culinary Management is growing and seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Team.  The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to: maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll.

We’re looking for a detail-loving, spreadsheet-slaying, audit-trail-keeping Accounting Specialist to join our collaborative finance crew. If you’re the type who finds satisfaction in balancing the books and takes pride in accuracy, we’d love to meet you!

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Quick Books On Line a plus
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the construction or home improvement industry is a plus
• CPA certification is a plus
