What is the job about?
As an Associate Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from ideation to launch. Design, prototype, test, and refine products to meet the needs of our customers.
You will support the development and engineering of products with a cross-functional team, meeting customer demands agreed with product management. Analyse, define and support the implementation of new features in existing products to secure a fit between customer needs, available product features, and production capability. Handle daily tasks supporting the product technical documentation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Responsible for part of a product/technology area.
- Assisting and collecting data for problem solving and product maintenance (i.e. SAP data etc).
- Prepare documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, standards, and practice.
- Ensure updated product documentation (i.e. models, assemblies, drawings, SAP data).
- Deliver to product development projects.
- Conduct preliminary analyses for product changes/updates.
- Work according to prioritised task backlog.
- Contribute and support for a well-functioning and self-organised SCRUM team.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or similar.
- Technical background (mechanical or electrical) is preferred.
- 3D modelling skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, effective, cooperative mindset.
- 0-1 years working experience.
- Proficient English – verbal and written.
