About the Opportunity
The Department of Applied Psychology invites applicants to apply for an open rank, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position serving our counseling psychology programs. This is a twelve-month, full-time, non-tenure track position primarily focused on teaching counseling courses in our three master's degree programs (i.e., Licensed Mental Health Counselor program, research focused master’s in applied psychology and an accelerated master's program for undergraduates), as well as our APA accredited PhD program in Counseling Psychology. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with service to our department, including program administration and clinical training of the counseling psychology students. The proposed faculty hire date is August 1, 2024.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
teaching graduate courses, including courses involving clinical supervision and clinical skills;
mentorship and advising of applied psychology students;
program director duties (e.g., management of enrollment planning, curriculum, admissions) and clinical training oversight;
participation in relevant department planning, including meetings at the program, department, and college levels;
oversight of current APA PhD program accreditation;
providing service and leadership to the Department, College, University, community and profession.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
Earned doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field by the appointment start date,
Licensure as a psychologist and health service provider in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the appointment start date, or if licensed in another state, to have commenced the process of securing licensure in Massachusetts by start date.
Five years post-licensure experience by the appointment start date
Experience providing clinical supervision to master’s and doctoral level students
Experience teaching Applied Psychology
