We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.</p><p>Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.</p><p>Are you a Low Carbon Energy Specialist with experience in developing low carbon solutions in multiple sectors?</p><p>We have an exciting Senior Engineer role in our established Renewables and Energy Transition Team, based in Dublin, Cork or Galway providing technical and management support on a variety of projects.</p><p>Our Energy team has delivered many high-profile projects across Ireland, the UK and globally, but we recognise that some of the challenges to be addressed need to happen at a small scale, so your projects and clients will be varied and interesting with huge opportunity to provide AECOM’s wide client base with effective low carbon solutions.</p><p>Examples of our current projects:</p><ul><li>Solar power deployment to behind the meter clients and grid scale development</li><li>Low carbon generation studies for ESB</li><li>Pumped storage hydro investigations in the Scottish Highlands</li><li>Energy audits for building owners and national utility organisations</li><li>Process energy reviews for industrial clients</li><li>Complex estate decarbonisation master planning</li></ul><p>The Role:</p><p>As a Senior Low Carbon Engineer, you will be a senior member of the team and responsible for developing and leading project delivery and developing and maintaining client relationships.</p><p>You will be expected to be able to review and generate technical and contractual information from both internal and external sources.</p><p>You are likely to have a background working with a consulting entity but may have been in an advisory capacity with asset owners, utilities or government. You will also have strong technical knowledge, team leadership, communication and project management skills and the desire to grow your career at AECOM. Other aspects of the role include:</p><ul><li>Perform specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.</li><li>Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.</li><li>Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.<
