Senior Product Owner

<h2>Overview</h2> <p></p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking our new <strong>Senior Product Owner </strong>to join the Axway team!</p> <p> </p> <p>As a Product Owner at Axway you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our software products. </p> <ul> <li>You will be responsible for defining the future of the product(s), gathering and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. </li> <li>We are looking for an imaginative and decisive business technologist with a strong affinity with API and Integration, customer problems and market trends. </li> <li>Our ideal candidate champions “whole solution” thinking for integration, ensuring sufficient consideration of non-functional requirements and implications for how solution is promoted, sold, delivered, and monetized. </li> <li>Lives and breathes the voice of the customer, capable of translating market trends, requirements and competitive dynamics into comprehensive solutions, fostering healthy debate and ambitious thinking within a team environment to arrive at a suitable solution. </li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p></p> <ul> <li><strong>Product Backlog</strong>: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision and business goals.</li> <li><strong>Prioritization</strong>: The ability to prioritize features and tasks based on their value and alignment with the product vision.</li> <li><strong>Adaptability</strong>: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.</li> <li><strong>Teamwork</strong>: The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li><strong>Technical Understanding</strong>: A solid understanding of the product's technology and development process. </li> <li><strong>Problem-Solving</strong>: The ability to identify and solve problems effectively.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder Management</strong>: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. </li> <li><strong>Product Launch</strong>: Oversee the launch and go-to-market strategy for new product features or releases. </li> <li><strong>Empathy</strong>: The ability to understand and empathize with users and customers.</li> <li><strong>Negotiation</strong>: The ability to negotiate with stakeholders and balance competing priorities.  </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. </li> <li>Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role. </li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SaaS environment </li> <li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). </li> <li>Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner </li> <li>Prior experience with AI and ML is a strong plus in this position </li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li> <li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Experience with product management / development management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha).</li> <li>Experience in the creation of more than one product from inception to release</li> <li>Approximately 10% travel maybe required, including international travel. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working in the API or Application Integration (iPaaS) domain.</li> <li>Knowledge of software development processes and technologies.</li> <li>Experience with user experience (UX) design and research.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>If you are a passionate and driven Product Owner who is eager to contribute to the success of innovative software products, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Company Overview</strong> </p> <p>At Axway, we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
