This Director will serve as a subject matter expert to advise on the creation of cost-of-service analyses, indirect cost rates, and related deliverables for clients as well as be responsible for presenting report findings to executive-level leaders and at on-site and virtual Board meetings.

Candidates should be willing to problem-solve, possess critical thinking skills, be able to work independently but also in collaboration with other staff, and be self-motivated. We are looking for an individual with leadership and mentorship experience who is seeking a fast-paced working environment and has a growth mindset.

The individual should also have a genuine interest in working with the public sector and assisting with fiscal projects. This position requires significant time working directly with spreadsheets, cost modeling, and client interaction.

In this role you will:

  • Lead client meetings
  • Advise clients on the process calculations used in the applicable cost analysis model
  • Problem solve complex issues on behalf of clients
  • Research existing and/or learn new regulations, programs, and subject matter areas
  • Present information orally to internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce and proofread extensive written reports for clients and ensure quality content and writing

  • Meet utilization target, monitor staff performance on utilization, and work with supervisor and team to address any gaps
  • Develop thought leadership articles and attend conferences, as needed
  • Participate in corporate activities and show a commitment to firm culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

To be successful, candidates should have public sector financial analysis experience and have led cost-of-service analysis studies in the past. Candidates should also possess advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and filtering with pivot tables. Demonstrating the right skill set may substitute for a lack of experience. The firm will provide specific training on the firm's proprietary cost-of-service models and systems.
