This position supports the Coralville process center focused on circuit card assembly automation of surface mount components. The process center creates uses several connected processes and machines which create a stream of data.  This role will marshal that data between 3rd party vendor systems to provide reporting functionality through and a single web service. This role enables that communication while presenting that information to users in a meaningful way to take action.

This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Coralville, IA.

• May be eligible for relocation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Capture requirements for software development
• Collaborate with various professionals towards software solutions
• Support surface mount technology process lines providing technical advice
• Support lab networking needs including troubleshooting, assist in design, and implementation
• Collaborate within a software team in an agile structure

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Object-oriented programming in C# using .NET Framework
• Knowledge of Model View Controller (MVC) model
• Experience with Relational Databases and understanding of Normal Forms
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries
• .NET Core development experience
• Solid understanding of Object-Relational Models
• Proficiency in JavaScript with experience using frameworks for state management and routing
• Familiarity with SAP
• Database administration skills with expertise in Oracle and/or SQL Server
